Xavier Arreaga could be traded in coming days

New England Revolution apparently interested in Sounders defender.

With the winter transfer window set to close on Tuesday, there’s at least a chance the Seattle Sounders will make a last-minute move. Sounder at Heart has confirmed The Athletic’s report that the New England Revolution have expressed interest in acquiring Xavier Arreaga.

The Revolution, who currently have the worst record in the Eastern Conference at 1-6-1, are in desperate need of some upgrades. They are currently starting Henry Kessler and Andrew Farrell at centerback, the latter of whom is a low-volume passer while ranking below the 50th percentile in most defensive categories.
