The Sounders recorded another point thanks to another penalty, bringing their season total to two in both categories. It was also another instance of a match being notably impacted by a referee who may have been in over his head. Sure, Trevor Wiseman got the first penalty spot on, which was earned and converted by Raúl Ruidíaz. And while Colorado’s penalty may have been borderline, Seattle only have themselves to blame for creating that opportunity in the first place with some sloppy passing out of the back. Thankfully, all Djordje Mihailovic could do was provide us with an Andrew Thomas highlight, as he not only stopped but held a tame effort. But the real adjudication issues came in the form of two yellow cards to Josh Atencio either side of halftime for two fairly innocuous challenges, and a late free kick awarded because Danny Leyva deigned to insert himself between man and ball. 1-1. Cool.

Here is a direct link to the form; we hope this allows everyone to submit a response.
