Coffee and Valkyries S1E3: Previewing the Challenge Cup semifinal

It’s been a hot minute since we recorded a Coffee and Valkyries episode, so the entire Ride of the Valkyries gang got together to talk about a big week for OL Reign as they compete for the 2023 NWSL Challenge Cup trophy.

On Wednesday, the Reign host Racing Louisville in a semifinal match which will likely see a lot of roster rotation, as both teams are coming off of important victories in regular-season matches over the weekend and the winner will have only three days before the Cup final on Saturday.

Susie, Jacob, June, Steve and Sylvs look back on how the Reign performed in the group stage of the tournament, some of the players and storylines that stood out in those games, and what to expect from Racing when the two sides face off.
