No MLS team has more players ranked among the Top 10 in 2023 jersey sales than the Seattle Sounders. While Lionel Messi is the runaway leader, Jordan Morris (No. 6), Raúl Ruidíaz (No. 7) and Cristian Roldan (No. 10) all cracked the Top 10. The only other team to even have two players on the list is expansion side St. Louis City, while City and Inter Miami were the only other teams to have three players among the Top 25.
This is the seventh time that Morris has made the Top 10 list, with the only exception being 2021, when he missed most of the season with a ACL injury.
Ruidíaz has now made the Top 25 in five consecutive seasons and jumped up from 21st when this list was released earlier this year.
Although this is the first time Roldan has made the Top 10, he has now ranked among the Top 25 in jersey sales for eight consecutive seasons. He was ranked 12th on the list earlier this year.
The Bruce Lee kit has apparently been the Sounders’ best-selling jersey of all time, meaning it is also one of the league’s best-selling shirts. Although third-kit availability is supposedly tied to sales, sources have told Sounder at Heart that the Sounders won’t be getting one until 2025 when they are due to play in the Club World Cup.
