The Seattle Sounders moved up to second in the Western Conference on the regular-season's final day after beating first-place St. Louis City 2-0 on Saturday behind an Albert Rusnák goal and an own-goal generated by Reed Baker-Whiting.
They will now face FC Dallas in the first-round of the playoffs, the fifth time the two Western Conference foes have played one another in the postseason.
