The Seattle Sounders wrapped up their three-legged opening round matchup with FC Dallas and will now host LAFC. Their lone goal in the 1-0 win came from Albert Rusnák, as he pounced on a well-weighted João Paulo through ball after a sloppy Dallas turnover. Seattle had several other chances, but couldn’t double their lead. Thankfully, the FC Dallas attack was particularly anemic, due in part to the absence of Jesús Ferreira.
