The hope inside the Seattle Sounders front office was that the Pedro de la Vega transfer would have been done by now, allowing everyone to head into the roughly two-week winter break feeling as though one of the biggest offseason targets had been secured. With staff basically heading home by the end of business today, that probably won't happen. Still, the transfer does appear to be on track to be completed relatively soon.
