The Sounders are beginning their season with the kind of depth that few teams in MLS can boast. While the transfer of Pedro de la Vega rightfully grabbed the headlines over the offseason, Seattle made two other key additions for their 2024 campaign. Danny Musovski fills Héber’s place at forward on the depth chart and Nathan’s surprising addition gives the team four capable starters at centerback. Let’s explore their skill sets and how they fit into the Sounders’ squad.

Musovski primarily played as a center forward in his MLS minutes with Real Salt Lake, but also saw time at left wing while at LAFC. Starting on the left gives him the opportunity to cut inside on his preferred right foot.

While not primarily a scorer with his head, Musovski wins many aerial duels. In 2023, he was in the 86th percentile for percentage of aerial duels won. His willingness to dive into tackles and play with a scrappy flair is notable.
