Barring a trade or unforeseen transfer, the Seattle Sounders appear to have effectively completed the business-end of their roster with the Thursday’s announcement that Danny Musovski has been signed to a two-year deal with an option for 2026. The free agent fills the last glaring hole on the roster, a third forward to presumably fill in when Jordan Morris and Raúl Ruidíaz are unavailable for one reason or another. He is expected to join the Sounders for preseason in Spain.
“You look at his productivity over the course of his time as professional, it’s a pretty easy decision to add a player like that,” Sounders GM Craig Waibel told Sounder at Heart.
“We love his work rate. He’s a brick-wall player. He doesn’t ask why. That’s the type of teammate we wanted to bring in. A little more grit, not that we don’t have any, but he has some.”
