Sounders Academy player Omar Hassan scored three goals in four games for the United States U15 team at the Vlatko Markovic Tournament and was named MVP. The last of those goals came in a 1-0 win over Japan in the final.

In the tournament opener, Hassan scored a pair of goals in a 4-3 win over England.

The USA also played Croatia and Morocco in the tournament.
The 14-year-old can play on either wing for the Sounders Academy and has has been playing up with the U17s all year. He’s also been a regular call-up to the USA’s youth national teams.
