Top-of-the-West Real Salt Lake hosted a heavily rotated Seattle Sounders side and made it look fairly straightforward. Seattle consistently struggled to create chances in attack, transitioning too slowly. Conversely, RSL seemed to create opportunities at will as they broke through Seattle’s lethargic lines. They scored one in the first and one in the second, and that was pretty much it, as the Sounders never really looked likely to mount a comeback.
