Sound Bite(s), May 28: Back in a playoff spot

Don’t look now but the Sounders are starting to string some results together. 

The Sounders’ 2-1 win over St. Louis City, brings their record to 4-1-3 over their past eight matches across all competitions and moved them into a playoff spot for the first time this season.

It wasn’t necessarily a pretty performance – for large stretches of the match the Sounders looked completely punchless – but they limited St. Louis’ chances, bided their time and finally had some good fortune go their way.
