The Tacoma Defiance have hit their first rough patch of the season, falling 3-1 to Minnesota United 2 on Sunday. It’s the second straight loss and they’ve now allowed nine goals in their past three games.
The Defiance started this one well, with a team-leading fourth goal from Yu Tsukanome off a nice layoff from Osaze DeRosario in the 32nd minute that came somewhat against the run of play.
Minnesota then struck back with an equalizer in the 38th minute, went ahead in the 60th minute and added an insurance goal in the 72nd minute.
