We got a pretty awesome reminder of what makes the U.S. Open Cup such a special tournament on Tuesday when the Sounders visited the Sacramento Republic in the quarterfinals. I was lucky enough to be in attendance and came home reminded that we must do everything possible to preserve this tournament.
