The Seattle Sounders’ U.S. Open Cup semifinal against LAFC has been pushed back one day to Aug. 28, it was announced on Friday. Although it gives the Sounders an extra day of rest following a league match against Minnesota United on Aug. 24, it pushes it one day closer to their match against the Portland Timbers on Aug. 31.

The other semifinal, between Sporting KC and Indy Eleven, will still be played on Aug. 27. Both semifinals will be aired for free on Apple TV.

With Lumen Field unavailable due to preparations for a Metallica concert later in the week, the Sounders will host the match at Starfire Stadium, where they have a 25-1-3 record in Open Cup matches dating to 2005. The match appears to have sold out, with the only tickets remaining being on the resale market and most now costing more than $100 apiece.

The Sounders are trying to become the first MLS team to win five Open Cup titles, which would also tie them for the most in the tournament’s 110-year history.
