The Seattle Sounders did themselves a whole host of favors in terms of controlling their own destiny this year, beating the Vancouver Whitecaps 3-0 on Wednesday. The win puts them into third place in the Western Conference and means they’ll reclaim the Cascadia Cup if they win their season finale against the Portland Timbers.
