The USWNT January training camp roster was announced on Tuesday, with head coach Emma Hayes selecting two Seattle Reign players. Newly acquired forward Lynn Williams will be joined by goalkeeper Claudia Dickey at the camp from January 14-21 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. As this camp occurs outside of an international window, the roster is entirely made up of NWSL players who are currently out of season and will not feature any international matches.

Williams is the third-most capped player on the roster, behind Crystal Dunn and Emily Sonnett, having made 75 appearances for the senior national team. She has been a mainstay on recent national teams, including being part of the 2024 Olympic gold medal winning squad.

This is Dickey’s first call-up to the senior team, with her most recent national team participation being as part of a U-23 training camp in 2022. She has been involved in the US youth system since the U-18 level and backstopped the team which won the Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship in 2020. She is one of six uncapped players called in for their first senior camp.

Concurrent with the senior team camp, a 24-player Futures Camp will also be held in Carson which will feature up-and-coming prospects as Hayes looks to the future of the senior team. The roster for that camp will be announced on Wednesday and is expected to involve a significant number of players from the 2024 U-20 Women’s World Cup squad, which included Reign forward Emeri Adames and defender Jordyn Bugg.
