Seattle Reign unveil new secondary kit
Seattle Reign on Thursday unveiled “The Rise Kit,” the club’s secondary kit for the 2025 season. The white, gold, and blue kit, inspired by the local landmarks that “stand tall above the city that Reign FC proudly represents,” complements the dark blue Reflection Kit that the Reign first wore in 2024.
A kit release video prominently highlights the steelwork on Lumen Field and the Space Needle, presumably the main inspirations for the jersey design.
According to a club release, the colors and textures on the Rise kit “mirror the Pacific Northwest sun rising over the Cascades, illuminating the beauty of the Salish Sea and the Olympic Mountains.” The kit also features diffused blue trim and shorts.

The Rise and Reflection jerseys will no longer feature the Black Future Co-op Fund on the front-of-jersey sponsor slot. For now, it won't feature any sponsor logo. The club is continuing to “search for the right partners,” according to Chief Revenue Officer Courtney Carter.
However, the Reign will continue their partnership with the Washington nonprofit, whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of Black Washingtonians. The Reign will donate a minimum of $10,000 from the first 30 days of Rise jersey sales to the Black Future Co-op Fund.
The Reign is also launching a RISE Purpose Platform alongside the new jersey, which will work to advance three key commitments:
- Advance equity for all in play and life
- Protect the Salish Sea
- Champion and affirm the power of girls, women and gender-diverse people
The Reign will soon launch a tool for fans to engage with these commitments and donate to support the club’s community programs.

“Our club, embodied by the queens in our locker room, has been a driving force of growth in our league, change in our sport and unwavering commitment to uplift and impact our community,” said Reign Chief Business Officer Maya Mendoza-Exstrom. “The Rise Kit honors that legacy while reflecting a new ambition for our club, our sport and our league. Rooted in Seattle and proud of our legacy, we enter this next chapter standing together with our players, our fans and community, as a club that is on the Rise, chasing our first NWSL Championship while continuing to shine our light to inspire others on and off the pitch.”
