Just as the Sounders are gearing up for the 2025 season, so are we. In addition to planning all sorts of great content, Sounder at Heart is also getting ready to release some new merchandise as well as a beer collaboration with Fast Fashion and Stoup.
The merchandise is something a bit different than we’ve done before. As you probably know, we have a ton of stuff available in our online store. What we love about that is there’s no limit on the designs or styles we can put there. We have effectively limitless flexibility.
The downside is that we don’t have much control over the quality. The reality is that print-on-demand clothing items just don’t have the durability of custom screen-printers and we have very limited choice in the make of the clothing.
By contracting with a local screen-printer, we have a lot more control. The last time we used this printer was for the first YachtCon in 2015. The shirt I got from that has gone through countless washes and has held up remarkably well. My expectation is that these will be the same.
