In our latest installment of “tactical shorts” we’re looking at Jesús Ferreira’s underwhelming debut at the No. 9. There’s no way around the reality that he didn’t exactly impress, but maybe not for the reasons we all first assumed. Upon rewatch, he was making the types of runs we wanted him to, he just wasn’t getting the ball for one reason or another.
Eventually, that started to bubble over into some frustration that will hopefully not have lasting consequences, but either way the Sounders should be patient with him.
