The Seattle Sounders are in advanced talks to sign free agent Ryan Kent for the remainder of this season and likely with an option for 2026, sources have told Sounder at Heart. The 28-year-old is currently without a club after spending a little over a year with Fenerbahçe, where he fell out of favor with head coach Jose Mourinho, which eventually led a mutual parting of ways with the Turkish club.
Kent is mainly a left winger, but he can play on the opposite side and has played some striker as well. Despite having a difficult time integrating at Fenerbahçe, Kent is a talented attacker, a Liverpool Academy product, with caps for England’s U20 national team and a ton of experience.
