The Seattle Sounders have just one win on the road against FC Dallas in their past 15 meetings, and will be looking to reverse that trend tonight. The Sounders are also trying to turn around a season that has seen them start 1-3-3, equalling their slow start from a year ago.
They’ll have some reinforcements. Although Albert Rusnák and Alex Roldan are out with injuries, Pedro de la Vega and Jordan Morris are expected to return to the starting lineup.
The Sounders had started the season 4-1-2 across all competitions before injuries starting taking their toll, with Morris and de la Vega each contributing three goals during that stretch.

- Ryan Kent has apparently completed his visa paperwork, but trainers urged coaches to leave the Englishman in Seattle to build fitness ahead of next week’s home game against Nashville SC.
- This will mark Jesús Ferreira’s first match against the club he first joined as a 10-year-old. Ferreira scored 53 goals for Dallas after joining as a Homegrown Player as a 16-year-old, but has yet to score for his new team.
- It will also mark Léo Chú’s first match against the Sounders. Chú has started the last three games for Dallas and has a goal.
