FULLTIME: The Sounders beat Nashville SC 3-0 behind three first-half goals, one apiece from Danny Musovski, Pedro de la Vega and Paul Rothrock. Jesús Ferreira picked up two assists.
SOUNDERS 3, NASHVILLE 0: Paul Rothrock scored off a nice pass after a nick cutback on a pass from Jesús Ferreira. It marked the first time since Oct. 3, 2021 that the Sounders had scored three goals in the first half at home.
WE ARE ROLLING. Paul Rothrock makes it 3-0‼

SOUNDERS 2, NASHVILLE 0: Pedro de la Vega pounded in a shot from about 10 yards out, finishing off a slick pass Obed Vargas. It was de la Vega's first MLS goal since scoring a penalty in his season debut.
What a strike by Pedro de la Vega 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷

SOUNDERS 1, NASHVILLE 0: Danny Musovski got his second goal in as many games, sweeping in a back-heeled shot off what appeared to be a Jesús Ferreira shot. The goal was originally ruled offside, but replay showed that Musovski was on by a fair distance.
Amazing build-up and a cheeky finish 🫡 Danny Musovski puts us on the board!

LINEUPS: The Sounders are using a lineup with just one change from last week but a much stronger bench, which includes Jordan Morris, Albert Rusnák, Alex Roldan and Ryan Kent, who could make his debut.
The Seattle Sounders will look to build some momentum after getting their first win in five games last week when they face Nashville SC today. Nashville, who missed the playoffs last year, has gotten off to a strong start this year with a 4-3-1 record through eight games.
That record is backed up by their underlying stats, with a +4.7 xGD that ranks fourth best in MLS. As has been the case throughout their MLS existence, this is still a team that is mostly led by a defense that has allowed eight goals in eight games and no more than two in any single match.
Offensively, they have a balanced squad with four players with two goals apiece. Hany Mukhtar is again pulling the strings in the middle with two goals and an assist.
The Sounders, meanwhile, should be about as healthy as they’ve been all year. Aside from Paul Arriola (knee) and Jackson Ragen (hamstring), the Sounders should have a full compliment of players available.
Notes
- This will be the Sounders’ first home match since March 22.
- The Sounders and Nashville have only faced each other three times in their history. The Sounders are 0-2-1. Nashville is the only MLS team the Sounders have faced at least twice and failed to beat.
- Ryan Kent will be available for the first time since signing with the Sounders and could make his debut.
