Sporting KC ownership set up Peter Vermes to fail
Matt Doyle joins Jeremiah on another episode of “How the West will be won.” The first topic they discuss is the news that Peter Vermes has been fired as head coach for Sporting KC, something that was probably long overdue. But the real problem isn’t so much Vermes, as an ownership that allowed Vermes to have more control than he was capable of managing.
They also discuss the rise of San Diego FC and look ahead to Saturday’s match against the Sounders, dig into the success of Vancouver Whitecaps, are a little skeptical of Austin FC’s start and admit that the LA Galaxy could be in serious trouble.
